Also known as Mobile Clay Shooting and Target Shooting, Mobile Clay Pigeon Shooting is a country shooting sport performed by double-barrelled shotguns firing environmentally friendly cartridges (12 or 20 bore) at flying targets known as clays.

We have also travelled further afield within the UK to spectacular locations for our much-loved Mobile Clay Pigeon Shooting. We have worked in an array of hotels, sports clubs, private grounds, and country estates. We can also recommend fantastic locations suited to your particular event.
Our experienced instructors are on hand to provide a health and safety brief, instructions, guidance and oversee this outdoor activity in a safe and enjoyable environment. All necessary equipment and safety wear is provided on the day. We offer one-to-one tuition when shooting. This is to ensure your safety is prioritised from start to finish and to make certain the event is fun, exciting, interactive, and competitive for all.
A range of shotguns and cartridges are available to accommodate everyone’s needs A level of recoil is expected in all shotguns, however, we will choose the shotgun most suited to you coupled with low-recoil ‘training’ cartridges. Scores are recorded by the instructor and the shooter that hits the most clays will win. The winner will be awarded the title of ‘Top Gun’ and receive one of The Shooting Company’s baseball caps (prizes can be added on request).

How does the Mobile Clay Pigeon Shooting work?
On arrival, yourself and guests will be given a full health and safety brief, an explanation on how the double-barrelled shotguns work, instructions on how to optimise shooting, where and when the clays are being released from the clay pigeon trap, when to fire and how scoring will be recorded. All guests receive a practice round followed by a competition round.
Is Clay Shooting safe?
Shooting is in fact one of the safest sports on ground. We keep it this way by ensuring your safety is prioritised throughout the day. This is achieved by providing you with appropriate safety wear including earplugs or earmuffs and protective shooting glasses, a health and safety brief to make sure you are aware of everything you need to know, instructions and guidance prior to shooting and one-to-one tuition during shooting. Your instructor is there to make sure the shotgun is pointed down-range after you take your shot and reload for the next. Your instructor will ensure your shotgun is never loaded and placed in its sleeve if you are not within the shooting stand and ready to shoot in order to avoid any accidents.
How many people can shoot at a time?
Ten shotguns are available per event with one-to-one tuition during shooting, so it is ideal for smaller groups. Participants can take it in turn so everyone is involved.
Can you operate Clay Pigeon Shooting at my chosen venue?
The venue is subject to a site visit so please allow enough time for us to process required permission and legal obligations prior to your event. This way, yourself and guests need only to turn up on the day and just have a great time.
What age group is this suitable for?
Clay Pigeon Shooting is suitable for all age groups, making it one of the most inclusive sports. However, it is necessary participants are aged 12+ years. No shooting certificate or license is required.
Is Clay Shooting suitable for my upcoming event?
We operate our Clay Pigeon Shooting for all manner of private and corporate events including country pursuit days, team building events, weddings, stag and hen parties, birthday parties and family fun days. It is ideal for all age groups to bring friends, family, and colleagues together for some friendly rivalry and a challenging event.
